Diana Forgione is the co-founder, host, and organizer of the Death Rattle Writers Festival, a Christopher Walken lookalike, a freelance writer and poet, and a judge and workshop instructor for the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Their current interests are hard boiling eggs and deconstructing the psychosphere . They have an MFA in creative writing, are a member of the Writers Guild of America and perform their poetry at literary events across the PNW, including readings at Treefort Music Festival,  Ghost and Projectors, The Cabin literary center and many others. They are currently refining an anthology of poetry for publication.

On a cold and rainy day in Burlington Ontario, amongst the machinery and whistles of the steal factories, the cry of a newborn baby was heard. That baby grew up across Canada and the US and is a painter, playwright, and Co-founder of the Death Rattle Writers Festival.

Nicolas Darlinton: Board of Directors

For eight years, Nicholas Darlinton has studied literature and writing as a middle school teacher. He is a Boise State Writing Project fellow, collaborating with like-minded educators. Additionally, Nicholas directs the Idaho’s Scholastic Writing Awards, a program that encourages and rewards young writers across Idaho. Along with the creators of Death Rattle Writers Festival, Nicholas started and runs an event of true stories told live called The Spill. He has two stories in the 2015 edition of The Cabin’s Writers in the Attic collection Animal.

  Alexei Alexandrovich  is Death Rattle's resident office gremlin toiling beneath a cartoonishly large inbox, but what some may view as an exercise in bureaucratic drudgery Alyoshka views as being an earnest labor of love. In between drafting emails and memos they occasionally moonlight as a writer, dabbling in short fiction & poetry, and is working to publish a collection of short stories in the coming year. Griffin Rae Birdsong is a sentient pile of slime from the bottom of the ocean. She has no friends. Her first book, A Pansexual Adventure Through Time: A Transition Autobiography, was released last year by H.O. Tanager Press.

  Reed Bills  is a writer and musician from SE Idaho currently living in sin. They are the Prioress of bad MS Paint art and social media promotion for Death Rattle's off-brand events.
